TOWN OF CLAYTON ANNOUNCES LOGO CONTEST

CLAYTON, NY--The Town of Clayton is calling on citizens to develop a logo for the Town.  The winning design will be used as the official Town logo on stationary and their Town website, among other things.

The Town of Clayton has a vast history that includes everything from the River to the railroad, shipbuilding and tourism.  Long ago earning the nickname of "Vacationland," Clayton truly has a lot to offer both the resident and the visitor.  Recently, the Town has both been named "Best Small Town" by Coastal Living Magazine and been designated a Preserve America Community.  Entrants should utilize our local resources, including local libraries and museums, to assist them in developing their theme.

The deadline for logo submission is 5:00pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.  The contest is open to Clayton residents of all ages.  A winner will be selected at the Wednesday, October 27, 2010 Town Board meeting.
