Newspaper
Place in paper grocery bags. Leave inserts
inside paper. No plastic bags.
Magazines
Glossy magazines & catalogs, junk
mail and school papers, place in paper bag or
cardboard box, no newspapers, books, phone books or
cardboard
Corrugated Cardboard
Tear off shipping labels and tape.
Remove staples. Flatten cartons. No waxed cartons or
beer carriers.
Plastic Bottles
Milk, water, and older jugs. Most
plastic now accepted. No plastic bags, tarps,
lawn furniture or flower pots.
Tin and Aluminum
All metal food or beverage cans.
Remove all labels, rinse out. Remove ends if
possible. We accept empty appliances (refrigerators,
stoves, etc.) No aerosol cans or hangers. No
propane or fuel tanks.
Glass
Glass Bottles and Jars Only.
Remove and discard lids and caps. Rinse out - Labels
may remain on. Separate by color (green, brown,
clear). No glassware, cookware, dishware, ceramics,
window glass or light bulbs.
